I have written for as long as I can remember. And I have long considered writing to be one of my dearest friends. Loyal without a fault; both true and kind and honest and cruel: writing gives me something that the rest of the world cannot, something deeper and more profound (even) than drawing and stitching permit.Perhaps it is the speed of the pen against the page; the fact that it can record as quickly as I invent? Perhaps it is the fact that the words listen in silence, their patience untiring? Or perhaps it is simply that, as a companion, it has always been there, standing by me when others have not? Whatever… writing provides ground beneath my feet, wind beneath my wings and soft sheets to fall back onto when I tire of moving.Below are links to samples of my work.
